
Dr. Angela Bachtell
Born and raised in East Troy, Wisconsin, Dr. Bachtell earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2003. After graduation, she joined the United States Air Force and served as a general dentist at Barksdale AFB. To further her education, Dr. Bachtell completed the two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Here she received advanced training in all aspects of dental specialty care and developed a special interest in IV sedation and the medical-dental integration of care. She then returned to Barksdale AFB, deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and served as deputy director of the AEGD-1 residency program. After her service on active duty, Dr. Bachtell worked as an associate dentist and traveled to residential care facilities in rural Louisiana to provide mobile dental care.
In 2017, she started Bachtell Dentistry with the vision of providing affordable comprehensive care to all patients in a comfortable setting. During this time, she also spent ten years in the United States Air Force Reserve, continuing to teach in the AEGD program at Barksdale AFB and treating active duty patients. Committed to higher dental education, she is a board-certified member of the American Board of General Dentistry and a member of the ArkLaTex Academy of Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Northwest Louisiana Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Bachtell calls Louisiana home with her husband, Mike, and their three children. Outside the office, she enjoys supporting her children’s activities, especially Scouting America, as well as playing frisbee with her dogs, cooking, and playing golf.

Tasha
LaTasha Richmond was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana where she currently resides with her husband and two children.
She attended Southwood High School and after graduation she worked as a Dental Assistant. From there is where she got the inspiration to become a Dental Hygienist.
LaTasha enrolled into Southern University of Shreveport/Bossier Dental Hygiene program and earned her degree in 2006.
She has been actively working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 19yrs.
Outside of work she enjoys going to church, family time, traveling, reading and just enjoying life.
